I love them all. I have loved eating burgers for years. We go to a nice place to eat out and I order a burger, not a steak. My personal favorites are 1. Black and Bleu 2. Mushroom and swiss with bacon. Always dip it in ranch dressing instead of have mayo on it.

The way I dress up my burger is to top it with caramelized onions and brandy reduced mushrooms. Then to send it into heavenly mode, I top it with Gruyère cheese.

Hmmm … never really met a burger I didn’t like but, when the taste of Romas strikes my fancy, I add Italian sausage to the ground beef, along with some finely minced fresh mushrooms & Parmesan cheese. Then top it with a slab of Mozza cheese, some leftover marinara sauce and some squished or crumbled up fresh basil (kinda like my husband squashes up dollar bills in his pants pockets!). Oh yea … gotta toast the insides of the buns, too … the crunch makes me happy!
