I love the internet when you want to grab an idea on how to prepare something. Â I had lamb chops and wanted a rub since I did not have time to marinate – was cooking after I came home from work. Â I found a rub on Allrecipes and adapted it to my liking.

Recipe
Brown Sugar Rubbed Lamb Chops (adapted from Allrecipes):
- In a medium bowl, mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 1 tsp each tarragon, ground cinnamon, black pepper, garlic powder and 1/2 tsp of salt
- Rub into each side of 8 chops; drizzle olive oil on each side of the chop
- Place on a grill on medium low and cook 6 minutes on the first side and 4 minutes on the second side
- Let rest for a few minutes and then enjoy.Â
I’ve never heard of rubbing lamb with brown sugar! This sounds like a great and unique rub.
This is so different … a brown sugar rub for lamb. I guess it never hurts to think outside of the box. Now I’m curious to how this would taste.
