In the past, I have made a number of no churn ice creams and they are delicious. The no churn ice cream could not be any simpler to create. In most cases, it has only 3 ingredients. The base is heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. The last ingredient is the flavor you wish to add. A few tasty examples of this ice cream include:
So how does one make an ice cream that is far healthier than one with heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk. Try using coconut cream and coconut milk. The fat content is so much less by using these ingredients. I would say that the ice cream becomes more like a sorbet than its counterpart. But it is tasty and very smooth when you let it melt a little. I took my recipe up a notch some vodka and cherry brand. I love cherries so this ice cream has a great twist to it. What’s so good about this recipe is it takes no more than 5 minutes to assemble. Once the cream is whipped, everything is combined and placed in a loaf pan. Stick it in the freezer to set. When ready to serve, take it out at least 15 minutes prior serving.

Boozy Dairy Free Ice Cream
Creating a significantly healthier ice cream by using coconut cream and coconut milk in lieu of heavy cream in my Boozy Dairy Free Ice Cream.
- 14.5 Ounces Organic Coconut cream
- 29 Ounces Organic coconut milk
- 2 Tsp Vanilla
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/8 Cup Vodka
- 3 Tbsp Cherry Brandy
Begin by whipping the coconut cream until heavy peaks are formed.
At the same time, in a sauce pan, add the sugar to the coconut milk and cook until dissolved – 3 – 4 minutes. Let cool.
Next, pour the cooled mixture into the whipped cream with the rest of the ingredients. Gently fold everything together. Once mixed, pour into a glass loaf pan and place in the freezer.
When ready to serve, take out 15 minutes early. Enjoy!
