Last night my wife and I had a pizza and wine night.  It was a Friday night and we both worked late.  So date night was some wine and this Bon Appétit Pizza.  I was asked to try this pizza and let my readers know what we thought.  This Bon Appétit Pizza was quite good, actually really good for frozen pizza .  I know it is a frozen pizza but it was really enjoyable.  It has a super thin crust which is probably a really good idea for a frozen pizza.  A thin crust warms up well and gets really crispy. When we go out for pizza, we order our pizzas well done for this exact result.

Bon Appétit Pizza

The thin crust is known as artisan pizza.  This artisan pizza concept was enhanced by the ingredients on each of the pizzas we tried.  One pizza was mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto, and the second pizza, was a spinach, garlic and three cheeses.  These are certainly combinations that I would put together if I was making pizzas in my house.  The garlic was definitely noticeable which is good and the tomato mozzarella pizza looked really good.

If you would like to try this new product, Bon Appétit is making it possible.  You have a number of ways to win so be sure to get as many chances as have been made available.  Be sure to tell us what your date night would look like.  You will really like this pizza.  You will love how quick you can have this ready and how good it it.  So if you want a special night at home when you have little time or it is a work week and you and your spouse are both working, just throw a Bon Appetit pizza in the oven, open a bottle of gnarly head wine and relax.   Said more pignantly, “make moments matter” with the one you love!

I would go to a nice restaurant with my husband for a happy hour drink, then another place for an appetizer, dinner someplace else and end the night with froyo on the way home 🙂

I also tweeted, but sent the wrong link in the form…here is my tweet,

I JUST saw these in the store the other day and thought about giving them a try! I like to keep a frozen pizza or two on hand for those hectic nights. Thanks for the input, I think I’ll pick one up this week!

Date night for us is usually dinner and a movie at home, or dinner out with a group of friends (does that count as date night?), or in the summer, drinks and dinner with friends poolside…our lives are so hectic, I welcome any chance to kick back and relax. This looks delicious!
