Is there anything easier to throw together or more comforting? I walk in the house and my daughter is throwing this together with a girlfriend. I had to stick my nose in but it was primarily to get a cool pic.
Recipe
Baked Pasta:
- Prepare 2 packages of noodles (any kind you like) – we used bow ties
- Embarrassed to say but we used sauce from a jar (hey, it is the middle of the week and we all work)
- We layered the al dente pasta with sauce, mozzarella cheese, noodles, sauce and cheese and topped with grated fresh Parmesan
- Baked in a 375 degree oven until the cheese melted and finished on high broil for 2 – 3 minutes.
I always find baked pasta just so comforting, this looks delish!
So true Sara.
YUM! I adore pasta bakes!!! 🙂
They are so simple but have so much taste.
Absolutely. Gorgeous, my daughter loved this…making this for her.
My daughter is the reason this dish was made. Kids are such inspiration!
I love baked pasta dishes! Simple but tasty and inviting.
Delicious and simple dish, just as I like it! I just found your blog through Paula@call me pmc and I think it is awesome! I also like your about, it reminds me of my own reason for foodblogging.
thx for the kind words. I liked your blog as well! Happy creating and blogging!
Baked pasta is my kind of meal! This looks heavenly!
what size dish did you bake the pasta in? and what size were the packages of pasta?
The size of the dish is worn out on the dish but it is about an 18″ round. You can use any size. It depends on how much pasta you make. I made a couple of boxes of pasta and saved some for another recipe.
Do you really need to broil the baked pasta when it’s finished? I have no clue how to broil stuff lol
the broiling really does help. it gives a really quick browning to the cheese. your oven should have a setting for broil?
Looks GREAT! And so easy! I could these going well with a tossed salad. I make my salads and put them in individual containers for the work-week on Sunday nights. I always make an extra one to use with dinners. So, virtually, you could have a square meal in just minutes with your Baked Pasta! Love the idea!!
These look SO good with that melted cheese on top! Golden brown goodness!
These look great! You should check out the pasta bake I posted last week.. Great minds think alike!
Peter, I love this individual style pasta delicious.
